I have heard that there is a Void-touched organising care and activities for local children, and was hoping to learn more about how well these efforts have been received. I'm newly arrived to Rubilykskoye as of a month ago, and am still attempting to find a place where my skills might be best applied. I believe this project you have undertaken will be exceptional in easing some of the difficulties between ourselves and the residents, and would like to offer my assistance, if it would be beneficial at all.

Please forgive me for this manner of contact. I'm not yet sure how to adapt the etiquette of my home to this communication system.

A pleasure to hear from you, Ningguang. Your help would be most welcome.

There are only few of us so far, but we have managed because the number of children in our care is not too great either. There will be more in time, certainly, and it is good to be prepared. The families will spread word of our good work.

May I ask if you have children of your own? That is often what the mothers ask first.

I do not, and it would be a lie to say it was ever a consideration. My life has always been dedicated to my nation.

But I have always made sure to spend time with the children in my home city. They are our future, and therefore both vital and precious, and I find their viewpoints on matters more illuminating than many would believe.
